That’s the best word to describe this past weekend in Anchorage with UAA Cheer & Dance Team and Rebecca Farrow.

This weekend we did something we believe no group has done before in Alaska.

Marry Belly Dance with Cheer/Pom/HipHop

Who would have ever thought two so very different groups would come together from across the state to join hands and create something amazing together!

First in the morning UAA hosted us and Tundra Caravan taught a workshop on basic Belly Dance and a short piece of choreography.

Then in the evening we performed a collaborative piece showcasing first UAA and their dancers, then Tundra Caravan who traveled, and then both groups together at the end of the song. 🎶

We can’t wait to see what the future has in store for us and what new adventures we will go on.

For now it’s time to rest, reflect, and celebrate what we accomplished this weekend 💚💜💙

It has been so wonderful having a couple of Tundra Caravans troupe members step up to teach this awesome series of classes on ATS and Tribal style dancing!
