The Fairbanks Alumnae Chapter gathered for our Chapter Retreat to prepare for an impactful sorority year! We confirmed our calendar of events, completed training, and made plenty of time for games, crafts, laughter, and sisterly fellowship.

The Fairbanks Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. proudly hosted a FREE Voter Registrar Training, equipping community members with the knowledge and certification needed to help register voters and strengthen civic engagement throughout our community.

A special thank you to Robert Kinnard for leading tonight’s informative training session and helping prepare the participants to take action.

We are trained, certified, and ready to serve! We look forward to continuing the important work of empowering our community, one registered voter at a time.

The ladies of the Fairbanks Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and The Alaska Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. gathered in Fairbanks on July 14th to attend the UAF Summer Sessions: A Conversation with U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson. It was a distinct honor and privilege to welcome our Soror to Alaska as she shared inspiring insights from her memoir, The Lovely One. We are grateful for the opportunity to hear her remarkable story and celebrate her extraordinary legacy of leadership, service, and excellence.

The Fairbanks Alumnae Chapter successfully completed our annual Mother's Day donation of purses and toiletry items to the Interior Alaska Center For Non-Violent Living. Each year, Sorors collect gently used and new purses for shelter clients and fill them with much needed health and beauty products.

A big thank you goes to Neibaur Dental for their support! For the second year in a row, the office contributed dental hygeine products to our initiative.

Thank you to our Committee Chairs - Sorors Latissue Colbert and D'Letter Shumate for planning and executing this program!
