The We Defy Foundation!

This is a nonprofit organization that helps combat veterans with service-connected disabilities improve their physical and mental well-being through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) training. Their mission is to provide veterans with a long-term way to cope with challenges such as PTSD, depression, anxiety, physical injuries, and the difficult transition to civilian life.

Nic Bowen, gym manager at Tribe Jujitsu Academy in the Bentley Mall, is the Alaska Ambassador for The We Defy Foundation. He was able to come receive the check today.

Sunday May 31st doors open at 1pm. Seminar starts at 130pm
BBQ hosted by T's BBQ connection will be on at 4pm.
