Educators Rising cultivates highly skilled educators by guiding young people on a path to becoming accomplished teachers, beginning in high school and extending through college and into the profession. Beginning in middle school and throughout high school, Educators Rising provides passionate young people with hands-on teaching experience, sustains their interest in the profession, and helps them

cultivate the skills they need to be successful educators. At the national level, Educators Rising supports the implementation of cocurricular high school programs in which students explore the teaching profession and gain authentic, hands-on teaching experience. Through the EdRising Virtual Campus, we provide teachers and school leaders with resources to establish and teach these courses — from implementation guidance to curricular materials. Teacher leaders facilitating the courses have access to a national network of counterparts, peers, and experts for sustained support. Educators Rising also offers opportunities that can be woven into cocurricular programs to extend and amplify their impact. This includes a national student conference, competitive events where students can demonstrate their leadership and teaching skills, the Educators Rising Honor Society, micro-credentials, scholarships, and more.

Congratulations to all of our students that qualified for Nationals. First place winners receive airfare, lodging, and early bird registration for Nationals. Second and Third place winners will receive early bird registration for Nationals sponsored by Educators Rising Alaska. Hope to see you soon (in Portland Oregon) 😄

Sorry for the delay SLC Goosechase contestants! We had to take our time tallying points because some teams were neck and neck ... so much so that we have a tie this year for 1st place!

What a great day of learning, sharing, teaching, and more! Buses will be picking up from the Wood Center at UAF at 4:15 to take us back to the hotel. Dinner is on your own - check out the Explore Fairbanks website for recommendations. The hotel also has a restaurant. Join us in the Gold Room at 7:00 - 9:30 PM for karaoke and game night!
