Fairbanks Education Association Welcome to the FEA page. The Fairbanks Education Association serves over 800 teachers in the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District in Alaska.

One of our goals is to protect the rights of local educators and advance their interests and welfare. FEA is affiliated with the National Education Association and NEA-Alaska. FEA works closely with the Educational Support Staff Association to benefit the schools in the FNSBSD. We strongly advocate for children and public education. We promote professional excellence among educators by encouraging

and researching opportunities for continuing education. FEA has been involved with community activities including participation in the Labor Day Parade and Kid’s Day at the Fair. Thank you to everyone who attended our Labor Day Parade and Picnic today. We had a great turnout on this beautiful day with a unified message of CONTRACT NOW.

Please join us in the school board room Tuesday from 3-7 pm as ESSA and FEA jointly bargain health care. Health care we can use. I thank you for your membership and engagement. None of us can do everything but each of us can do a little to move negotiations forward.
