Vehicle Custodian & Inspection Assistant (Temp):
Facilities Services is hiring a temporary, part-time Vehicle Custodian & Inspection Assistant to keep our fleet clean, safe, and ready for use. In this role, you’ll clean and detail vehicles inside and out, check lights, fluid levels, and safety equipment, and remove snow or ice as needed. If you’re detail-oriented and enjoy hands-on work that keeps things running smoothly, we’d love to have you on our team.
This is a part-time, temporary position. New hires will be placed on the UA Temporary Salary Schedule, Grade 75 ($16.15), based on education and experience.

UAF Facilities Services CT2 Electrician
This position may be filled at the CT2 or CT3 level, depending on the selected candidate’s experience.

This is a full-time, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage.

Salary Information: CT2 /Step 1 $28.86/hr.

CT3 /Step 1 $32.51/hr.

While the snow keeps falling, the UAF Facilities Services Grounds team is working around the clock clearing walks, roads, and entrances to keep campus as safe and accessible as possible. Shoveling while it’s still snowing can feel like emptying a bathtub with the faucet is still on, but staying ahead of accumulation helps prevent ice and hazardous conditions later.
