UAF CTC Law Enforcement Academy

This session (Session 33) will be a new challenge for the police academy. For the first time since it began in 2001, the acadmey will be held during the summer/fall, July 9-October 12. This session will also add 1 week making the academy a 14 week program. Deadline for applications is May 1.

Graduation for this 31st session will be November 10th at the Pioneer Park Center for Performing Arts at 2pm.

Session #29 just graduated. Happy but sad. So happy they're on their way. Sad to see them leave so soon. They truly become part of my family. So blessed to have had 460 students, so far, to go through this academy. Will miss you all.

Just graduated another group today. Session 28 is on their way. Nearly all have jobs and others about to. Very proud of these 14 recruits. They've worked hard, very hard. Great job to session 28.

Red Friday today, honoring our nation's military.

Had a wonderful graduation today with the smallest group (6 recruits) graduating. Speeches from Dean Michele Stalder, Mayor Eberhard, Richard Finney and Peter Pohwat. Lots of family members were on hand. Folks from APOA and agencies all around the area were there to visit. What a great time. Thank you all for making this such a special time for these recruits.
