Our Get Active session is always a blast. We will be welcoming our Fairbanks Friends, the Ice Dogs Hockey Team. They were such fun visitors two years ago so we are bringing them back.

Our Light of the World family has gathered many items to share with our church and community. We have extended our event and will be opening up our Blessing Closet for two more days!

Kids clothes (more girls than boys), shoes, winter gear & boots, books, games, toys, stuffies, household items, bags, bedding, and MORE! Everything is FREE! Grab what you need and enjoy!

Time: 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Here are some pictures from our fun dog mushing event this past week!

Even though we had to cancel on Monday due to snow, we were excited to be together on Wednesday.

We're back!!!!

This month's session, featuring local mushers - and the real stars, the dogs - will get your kids learning about this wonderful sport, while getting them up close to an adorable dog or two.

As you've come to expect, our session will be full of fun activities for your kids - circle time, stories, crafts, a sensory, motor skill activities, and, of course, lots and lots of food! Our two sessions for our "Mush!" theme will be Monday, February 23 @ 10:30am and Wednesday, February 25 @ 10:30am.
