Spruce Tree Goes to Denali!

It’s our annual all school field trip and camp out in the Park. 🏕️

☀️Spruce Tree Montessori offers a beautiful, experiential environment for children indoors and out! With our unique, nearly year-round school calendar, children enjoy all things seasonal while learning math, language (reading and writing), science, geography, and history. Practical life lessons like table washing, hammering, sweeping, cutting, spooning, and plant and animal care are learned alongside music and art, with social-emotional learning lessons topping off each day! It’s a busy and productive, nurturing and curious experience where all feel welcome and valued.

From traditional field events like the mile run, sack race, softball throw, and egg race to the challenge of an obstacle course, “pin the eye on the Sockeye”, rock painting, and tug of war, to our first ever corn hole tournament for mentors-mentees, we had the best time celebrating friendly competition and comraderie!
