Perhaps one of the lesser known tidbits about Coach Hebert's @caneswbb origin story is the 'The U' 1st noticing her during their visit to Alaska for The Northern Lights Invitational — the tournament that would ultimately become the women's Great Alaska Shootout.

At the time, the women's tourney took place in March, coinciding w/ the Alaska State Tournament at West Anchorage where Jeannie dazzled, leading Monroe Catholic to the 4A State Title in dramatic fashion.🏆
