ASUAF - Student Government The Associated Students of the University of Alaska Fairbanks, or ASUAF, is YOUR Student Government.

It is our function to represent and act on behalf of the students of the University of Alaska Fairbanks. ASUAF is the student government for the University of Alaska Fairbanks. We represent students on a number of levels--with staff, faculty, administration, regents, legislation, and other bodies as deemed appropriate. ASUAF also offers a variety of services to students at little or no cost. Learn

Campus just isn’t the same without our students, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back for another amazing semester! We hope you’ve had a fun, restful summer and are getting excited to return to campus.

What a week! 🎉

A huge thank you to NACA for hosting an incredible Student Government Institute in Denver. We had an amazing time learning, growing, and connecting with student leaders from across the country.

Hearing new ideas, sharing experiences, and collaborating with other student governments gave us valuable tools to become stronger leaders and better advocates for our students. We’re excited to bring what we learned back to campus and put it into action during this upcoming year!

To everyone we had the opportunity to meet—thank you for inspiring us. We can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll accomplish. ❤️

ASUAF has submitted a letter to Governor Mike Dunleavy urging support for the FY27 Deferred Maintenance Budget for UAF.

This funding would help address critical campus needs, including student housing, accessibility improvements, and essential facility repairs. Investing in UAF means investing in student success and Alaska’s future.
