As we wrap up the 2025โ€“2026 school year, there is a lot to celebrate across our district: student accomplishments, graduations, school activities, staff recognition, cultural learning, and community partnerships.

Thank you to our students, families, staff, School Board, Tribal partners, and communities for the support and dedication you showed throughout the year.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026, and thank you to everyone who helped make this year meaningful.

We hope you have a safe and restful summer, and we look forward to seeing everyone again in August.

MINTO STUDENTS!!

Greetings from the University of Alaska!!
T3 (Teaching Through Technology) Program

Some of you may remember our T3 2024 visit to Minto with a T3 rural Alaska high school student group that worked with the Minto community to produce drone mapping of your cemetery, landfill, and the Tolovana log jam.
Thank you for being a big part of that great learning experience!

This summer T3 will be returning to Minto June 12 โ€“ 14. We would like to hear your thoughts for a 2026 project for T3 students to use skills they are learning that could serve your community.
In 2024, the students and teachers listened and learned about Mintoโ€™s culture, history, and concerns. Eliza Winfrey and Irene Robin Sherry will again be Elders for the T3 Program.
The students will be learning:
Drone Usage
3D printing
Weather monitoring
Monitoring stations, such as roads

Possible concerns to work with you on might be:
Food security
Emergency response
Community drone mapping, such as erosion or AVEC Infrastructure Monitoring weather or roads

Our School Board just wrapped up our Board Retreat with Lisa Murkowski, where we discussed expanding our Career and Technical Education programs and preparing our students in Interior Alaska for success in the workforce after high school.

Thank you, Senator Murkowski, for visiting our CTE facility and dormitory and for taking time to discuss ways we can continue creating meaningful opportunities, career pathways, and workforce training experiences for our students and communities across Interior Alaska.
