🌎Earth Day: Promises from the Heart! ❤️

Mr. Salus’ 4th and 5th graders are showing our planet some serious love! 🌟

Each student combined art and writing to create these beautiful "Promises to the Earth." From protecting wildlife to keeping our waters clean, their creative displays are a wonderful reminder that big changes start with a small promise.

We are so proud of these thoughtful students. ✨

🌍 To celebrate Earth Day, Mr. Hoy’s 2nd and 3rd grade students created their very own Public Service Announcements to teach us all how to take better care of our planet. From "Planting a Tree" to "Keeping the Lake Clean," their messages are powerful reminders that you're never too young to make a difference.

But these aren’t just ordinary posters! 📱✨ Our tech-savvy students also made their own PSA videos. If you stop by the display, you can scan the QR codes attached to each poster to watch the kids bring their environmental missions to life!

We are so proud of these young advocates for their hard work, creativity, and love for our Earth. Way to go! 🌳

With generous hearts and a true love for our students and school, the Illingworths are wonderful examples of community spirit.

They faithfully volunteer with Guys and Gals Read, help with field trips, support our cross country races, assist in classrooms, and have stepped up as substitute teachers when needed. They also brighten our staff’s days each fall with beautiful fresh peonies from their garden.

Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Illingworth, for your selfless dedication and for making Salcha Elementary a better place for everyone! ❤️
