Combined with Spirit Week, our parents and friends of FNCS have been showing our teachers appreciation for all their hard work this year.
We appreciate the generosity and thoughtfulness of all those who have given gifts, brought food, and continue to support our teachers!

We had an AMAZING Cinco De Mayo/Taco Tuesday spirit day but were so busy eating delicious food we forgot to take pictures!
But we got some pictures of our WACKY WEDNESDAY with clothes on backwards and inside out! We even had wacky lunch with hotdogs on hamburger buns.
We’re so thankful for the parents who have given of their time and resources to help make these spirit week activities a blast!

Attention families: we will continue to follow the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District closure schedule and will be closed Tuesday, February 24th.
Due to heavy snowfall and difficult road conditions, with the heaviest snowfall expected tonight, all schools and extracurricular activities are CANCELED tomorrow, Tuesday, February 24. We are making this decision the night before to give families as much time as possible to plan.
Road conditions across the borough are difficult. Student and staff safety is always our top priority when making weather-related decisions, and canceling school is never a decision we take lightly. The district consults with multiple sources, including road crews and transportation staff, to assess conditions across our large geographic area before making a determination.
School will resume as scheduled on Wednesday unless otherwise communicated. Additional information will be shared if conditions change.
We also want to extend our sincere appreciation to the snow removal crews who have been working long hours to improve road conditions across the community.
