The weather forecast predicts 33 F next Saturday, February 21, which means perfect day for skiing. Would y'all be interested in renting skis and going cross country skiing on this day? Let's meet at the UAF ski chalet - it's the little yurt building across the street from the Akasofu building at 1 pm on Saturday.
Outdoor Adventures offer cross-country skis for the rent. Here is a link on their webpage: http://www.uaf.edu/draw/outdoor-adventures/rental-rates/
Please notice that they work only Monday through Friday from 10 am until 6 pm.
Also, in the case if you could not rent skis, Erin Shew (NORS folk) has extra pair that someone who's size 9 can use.
