Alaska Legislature passes HB 10, creates seat for faculty member on University of Alaska Board of Regents - House Majority Coalition JUNEAU, AK - Today, the Alaska Senate passed House Bill 10 on a strong bipartisan vote of 18-2. The addition of a faculty member to the Board of Regents has been a long-sought addition for many faculty and university stakeholders.

Alaska nurses are standing up against reductions in nurse staffing at Providence Alaska Medical Center. Providence executives are forcing nurses to take on more patients.

We need your support and presence as we raise the alarm and advocate for good patient care for Alaskans who are seriously ill or injured and need to stay in the hospital.
