Plein Air Landscape Workshop

Capture a fresh and alive quality of light in your paintings. This workshop will focus on painting the light and color of this beautiful Florida beach. Depending on weather, the class will be painting both outdoors on location and inside the studio.

Learn how to see and paint the Value, Temperature, and Chroma (intensity) which create the “light key” or quality of light of this area. Composition, subject choice, color harmony, and painting skills are demonstrated and taught in-depth. (Basic drawing and painting skills suggested.)

Starting on Thursday, April 4th, the Open Studio Sessions will move from Friday mornings to Thrsday afternoons from 1:30pm to 4:30pm. The plan is for these to follow the same format as the Figure Drawing Classes. Bring your drawing supplies and practice your drawing skills - 3 hours only $10

For those of you interested in working on your drawing skills, you may want to consider joining in on Bill Monaghan's Sketching & Drawing 2 day workshop - April 27th and 28th for $195. Bill will be doing this Plein Air and showing how to choose the best subject for your painting and how to quickly sketch your scene for finishing in the studio.
