This last Saturday, March 8th, our cadets took a trip to The Civil Air Patrol Squadron at the Sacramento Executive Airport. They took 3 trips into the sky and got to see the city and surrounding areas from above. Thank you to the Civil Air Patrol and the Pilots who flew with us!

Over the summer, our Cadet Sydney Topping attended the Air Force JROTC Flight academy Private Pilot Program at Charleston Southern University in South Carolina! Sydney is the first cadet from our unit to complete this program since it started in the summer of 2018. The Private Pilot certification qualifies Cadet Topping to wear the Flight Certificate Badge, along with other badges on her uniform this coming school year where she will be a member of the top staff Senior class!
