Biography:

Currently: Adjunct music professor at Yuba Community College; directs the Becker Guitar Studio Suzuki Program; performs classical guitar in the Sacramento CA area. Education: Master of Music degree California State University, Sacramento. Suzuki Guitar Teacher Training. Becker has been teaching guitar in the Sacramento area since 2001. After studying the Suzuki Method for Guitar in 2005 with Frank Longay, and with guidance from Brandon Yip, Mr. Becker began a Suzuki Guitar program in Sacramento. Becker’s students have gone on to receive top prizes in competitions, including the 2010 regional American String Teacher’s Association (ASTA) Guitar Competition.
