We’re hosting a Command Staff Public Meeting — and you’re invited!

📍 Borough Hall Courtroom – 2nd Floor, 8-01 Fair Lawn Ave

This public forum will provide an opportunity for residents and community members to meet directly with the department’s command staff. Attendees will receive an overview of the department, current state of operation, crime trends, and hear from the commanders of the patrol division, detective bureau, and the community policing/traffic unit. Those in attendance will be able to ask questions, share concerns, and learn more about the ongoing public safety initiatives within the Borough of Fair Lawn. As of now there is no firm plan to outsource but when we have more information, we will gladly share it.

(Discussions will also take place about the proposed privatization of school crossing guards and the possible outsourcing of public safety communicators.)

Tomorrow, 4/3/26, is the LAST day to nominate for next years PTO board! The board seat will be for 2 years starting with the 2026 school year. An email with additional details was sent out last week from our PTO email, please feel free to reach out with any questions.
