Galina is teaching Yoga at Kokushikai. She has over 500 instructor hours and has done Yoga around the world. She believes that you are always doing perfectly in yoga because it is for your mind and body. Have no fear. It is your journey. Embrace it!

Congrats to the KJA competitors who fought in the North American Championships this past Sunday. From Bantam divisions through Senior Elite divisions, all fought with courage and grace. All felt the physical and mental challenge of giving effort on the mat. Every experience is growth. I am proud of these athletes and the players in the dojo who helped them train. Congratulations to them all!!

Very proud of Ellie Keum and Jayden Sanchez 🥈 for their fighting spirit at the USJF/JA Summer Nationals and Jayden who also competed at the US Open the following weekend finishing 5th, both tournaments in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

These two have had so many great experiences in their judo development at Kokushikai since they began as children. They persevere and strive while balancing other activities and managing impressive academic excellence. Congratulations to their parents as well who have supported all their endeavors helping them to become the fine young people they are today!

Congrats to the KJA players who competed this past weekend in Paterson, NJ. Some have competed before and others it was their first time. All showed their skills and fighting spirit. All came home with a medal. Very proud of them all!
