As NJ/NY prepares to host our first match of the World Cup next week, let's look back at a remarkable trip where our students visited the home of the Brazil National Football Team.
The students of this year's Pathway to College Program visited Rio De Janeiro as their end of the year project working to advocate for people experiencing homelessness. Our future leaders had the opportunity to experience the food and culture of Brazil while also building houses and providing essential resources to those in need.
From last year's trip to Tanzania to this year in Brazil, it is imperative that we continue to give our students opportunities like this to grow and learn about communities outside of our own! Thank you to Mr. Mileo and everyone that planned this amazing trip!

This past week, iLearn Schools wrapped up interviews for this year's iScholar Program. iScholar is a scholarship program that awards 15 deserving seniors from Bergen, Passaic, and Paterson ASCS with a $2,000 scholarship. Each recipient is allowed to use these funds toward their higher education expenses, such as textbooks, room and board fees, gas for commuting, dorm supplies, and more.
Each year, the planning committee of the iScholar program selects community members and long-term charter school supporters to interview the school's talented students. We would like to thank every panelist who took time out of their busy schedule to visit, get to know the students, and help provide them with the resources to succeed.
The 2025–2026 iScholar recipients will be announced at this year's commencement on June 18th, 2026, at Fairleigh Dickinson University. We are so incredibly excited to see the Class of 2026 move on to their next chapter!
