This morning, catastrophic flash floods swept through northern Nepal, destroying homes and critical infrastructure in an instant.

At least 167 people have been reported dead, while more than 400 remain missing. These figures may continue to change as search-and-rescue operations continue.

ARC for Nepal is launching the Nepal Flood Emergency Relief Fund to collect international donations for verified emergency and recovery needs.

Donations may help provide food, safe drinking water, essential supplies, medical and hygiene items, and continued assistance for affected families.

Through our Nepal-based sister organization, the Rajendra Anjana Foundation, we will coordinate with local governments and recognized disaster-response agencies to identify urgent needs and provide aid responsibly.

All funds transferred into Nepal will follow Social Welfare Council requirements.

📕 Conquering Dreams by Hari Budha Magar

Pride of Britain award winner
Guinness World Records ICON

“If I had the opportunity to bring my legs back today, I would actually decline. It was only after losing them that I found my true self”

While serving with the Royal Gurkha Rifles in the British Army, Hari lost both of his legs above the knees in an explosion in Afghanistan in 2010.

Defying all odds, in 2023 he made history by becoming the first double above-knee amputee to summit Mount Everest.

Earlier this year, Hari became the first double amputee to climb the highest peaks on all SEVEN continents.

Hari is determined to show people what the human spirit can achieve, push limits and inspire others “to climb their own mountains whatever that might be”.

Conquering Dreams, with a foreword by Dame Joanna Lumley, is on sale August 27th! Preorder on Amazon now.
