Had fun at the Memorial pool with Rob today. It was our first time there this season because I work a lot and so does he but it was nice because he had Friday off and then of course he's always off on Saturdays. Ran into one of my closest friends there with her friend so it was fun in the water cause Rob was on land relaxing and I was talking to my friends for an hour on the water. The angle of this picture below makes it look so small but it's actually a really large pool.

Great day at a Memorial pool with Rob. He only went up to his waist as he was very tired from a hard work week but I went all the way in and I met someone that I knew years ago and I talked to her for an hour. Then she left the pool and I ran into one of my closest friends Diane and her friend so we spent an hour talking. I love going there because I always run into people I know. I haven't seen my friend Di in more than a year but I bump into her at a local place once in a while. Her + I were both just very busy with stuff and now hopefully we'll have time to hang out because I get a little slower in the summer. However, this spring I got 4 new students + last week got 2 new people so I don't know if it's gonna be as slow as normal which is a great thing.

With this cold weather even when I go to bed at 2 AM I wake up at 5 in the morning because the pain wakes me up and I'm looking at the wind chill factor and 5 in the morning it's gonna be so cold. I feel like I'm living in Antarctica. Ever since I was a little kid I never had to run the water overnight in my house for a full week. We always had to run the faucet if it's under 18° but if the wind is under 5 m/p/h then we don't really have to run the faucets but once it gets down to 8° the pipes will freeze and it's happened to us before. So every night for the last 2 weeks we run 3 faucets that are on the lower levels and upstairs we don't have to worry about it cause heat rises. My tenant just texted me saying I guess I should run the water again tonight. I don't even want to know what the wind chill factor is and I said well it's about −3° so yes run your faucet overnight as usual. I am not happy with Jersey weather and I'll be very happy to be in Florida in a few months for my nephew's wedding. After giving lessons today I stayed in the house and I usually go out after I give lessons even if it's cold but it was just too cold for my old bones.
