Iceland Day 4 🇮🇸 Part 1
Exploring the South Coast
On Day 4 of our adventure, we journeyed to the South Coast to take in glaciers, black sand beaches, and memorable villages.
🌋 We caught a glimpse of the Eyjafjallajökull glacier, which sits on top of an active volcano
💧 We climbed to the top of the 200 foot Skógafoss Waterfall for a beautiful view, and could not pass up an insane cliff-top photoshoot 😱
🌈 We spotted a rainbow at end of the waterfall!
🏠 We spent some time exploring the Skogar Turf House Folk Museum that date back to Viking era. We learned a bit about how the ancient Vikings stayed warm in the cold climate, their homes & tools, and we shared a room with a 170 year old Icelandic fishing boat! The two-headed sheep is still giving a few of us some serious nightmares…
🧚 We were (mostly) careful not to crush any Viking fairy homes.

Hey Travel-Lovers! Today is the LAST DAY of our $150/ person enrollment discount for our 2027 tour to England, Ireland & Scotland! This is an Adults Tour for travelers 20+ (18+ welcome with traveling guardian.)

We have traveled with 250+ local travelers over the past 11 years. We recently opened our 2027 tour & there are only a few spots left! First-time travelers, experienced travelers, solo travelers, families, couples… all are welcome!
