Interesting lessons and drills in practice today. Against same-handers, Binds from 6-8, and wider from 6-7 for taller fencers, who can’t see 8. Against opposite-handers, croise from 6-8, and low four with riposte in opposition.

Hello friends of Keystone College Fencing Club! Head coach, Dr. Steve Howell here. I'm a professor of psychology in my day job.
I'd like to invite you to participate in one of my psychology research studies. My research lab Ph.D. students at Fielding Graduate University, with the assistance of my students at Keystone College, are conducting a study on Mindfulness and Self-talk, in everyone but especially in athletes such as fencers. Please consider taking our survey online!

Adults (18+) are invited to participate in an anonymous online survey examining relationships among self-talk/inner speech, mindfulness, and mental imagery, with brief sections on lifestyle.
• Time: approximately 15–25 minutes.
• Consent: The first page is an informed consent page; participants must agree to proceed.
• Voluntary: Participants may choose to leave questions unanswered.
• Privacy: Survey responses are collected without identifying information.
