Keystone Fencing Club

Fencers from Twin Tiers Fencing Club will be joining us for practice tonight, Monday April 13th. Please come out and fence them!

Keystone College Fencing Club recently hosted its Spring Open Foil/Epee tournament this past Saturday April 11th.

In Foil, Keystone alumnus Luke Cruver won gold, while current student and club President Dylan Hammel took silver, and Williamsport fencer Ogden Snow took bronze.

In Epee, Keystone alumni Luke Cruver won gold and Lillian Repsher-Hines took silver, while Abington Heights senior Layan Alramadeen took bronze.

Congrats to our medalists and all others who participated, some of whom were fencing at a tournament for the first time! Thanks also to Keystone Alumnus Sunney Hardler who officiated!

Reminder, no Saturday practice on Saturday April 11th because we’re hosting a tournament.

Due to the Easter Break at Keystone College, fencing practices are cancelled Thursday April 2nd, Saturday April 4th, and Monday April 6th.

We’ll reopen Thursday April 9th.

Keystone alumnus and current KCFC assistant coach Sunney Hardler competed at the Binghamton Spring Fencing tournament this weekend, earning an 8th place position in foil and a 16th in epee against tough, nationally ranked competition. Well done, Coach Hardler

Practice cancelled today!!

Folks, sorry for the short notice, but coach Howell can’t make it practice today due to a conflicting event!! We’re trying to determine ASAP if another coach will be present to cover…stay tuned for updates before you leave for Saturday practice.

If we do have practice, please take care driving around campus, as Keystone is having an open house today.

Keystone College fencing practices resume tonight, but be careful, it looks like heavy rain and windstorms tonight.

Keystone Fencing Club is hosting a Foil and Epee tournament Saturday April 11th. Foil starts at 9:00, Epee at 12:00. Check in 30 minutes before. Register on Askfred.net

Since Keystone College is on Spring Break from now until March 15th, Keystone Fencing Club Practices are cancelled all week, including tomorrow, Saturday 7th. Our next Practice will be Monday, March 16th.

Due to the expected extreme cold this weekend, Saturday Feb 7th fencing practice will be canceled. Next practice should be Monday.

We have fencing practice today (Saturday) at noon as usual, but Monday night’s practice will likely be cancelled due to the coming snowstorm.
