Congratulations!

It is with great pleasure that we post this picture. It depicts what FAA is all about. Congratulations Class of 2020. But most of all, Congratulations to the recipients of the 2020 FAA Scholarships.

FAA gave out six scholarships. In those was included the Violeta Loya Memorial and the Ponzio Family Memorial.

Juan Chaparro was the recipient of the Loya scholarship, whereas, Melanie Torres received the Ponzio Family scholarship.

We hope that we are able to provide a stepping stone into your future, Wildcats. We want you to take the road to your chosen College/University and pursue your dreams.

We, FAA, have now given out $90000 in terms of scholarships and grants to Fabens students. It makes us proud that we are able to provide this money. Thanks goes to the Community of Fabens, because it is your money that we gave away. Without you this would not be possible. You support FAA fundraisers, which in turn goes back to the community.

Again, Congratulations Wildcats. Use the money to go forward and pursue your lifelong dreams.

Class of 91 if you haven’t signed up to become a Wildcat Alumni please do so now. It’s only $10 a year and the money goes back to our fellow high school wildcats by proving scholarships to them.

Mrs. Lorena Russel was one of my favorite teachers in high school. I have very fond memories of her.
