Achievement House students and staff attended the Philadelphia Phillies' annual Weather Education Day, where meteorologists from NBC10 and Telemundo62 shared fascinating insights about weather, forecasting, and science.
Students also had the opportunity to learn from experts from The Franklin Institute before settling in to watch the Phillies take on the Cincinnati Reds.
From weather science to America's pastime, it was a day full of discovery, excitement, and unforgettable memories at the ballpark. π

βΎ Opening Day at the ballpark with Achievement House!
Our families and staff had an incredible time during the Reading Phillies Opening Day at FirstEnergy Stadium.
Families and staff enjoyed the game while connecting with the community at our AHCCS table in the stadium plaza. π
Lakota Keeler, a 10th-grader at Achievement House, threw out the ceremonial first pitch before the game and was accompanied by Principal Angela Alderfer.
It was a day full of school spirit, community pride, and unforgettable memories! π
