This month, we're recognizing Kristin Bulgarelli, Principal of Exton Elementary School, for the way she consistently lifts up the people around her. Throughout the year, Kristin took the time to nominate and spotlight members of her school community for Way Maker recognition, ensuring their hard work, dedication, and impact were seen not only within their building, but across the district.

State champions and TV stars? 🎥✨ Members of the Henderson High School Girls Lacrosse team recently had the opportunity to share their story during a live interview with Fox 29, reflecting on their incredible championship season.

The Warriors talked about teamwork, confidence, and always believing they could get the job done🥍🖤❤️

No matter how many cameras are around, these champions continue to make us proud. Congratulations again on an unforgettable season! 🏆👏

Today, we recognize Juneteenth and its significance in our nation’s history as a celebration of freedom. Wishing our community a meaningful day of recognition and reflection!

🦅 Glen Acres Elementary recently celebrated a major milestone - 60 years! 💚

Students and staff came together for a fun-filled Glen Acres Day celebration featuring student speakers, music, a staff “Teacher Time Machine” skit, and a dance through the decades!

To top it all off, the entire school gathered outside to form a giant “60” in honor of this special anniversary. Here’s to 60 years of learning, community, and school spirit at Glen Acres! 🎉

Another fun highlight from the 2025–2026 school year ⚓✨

First graders at Mary C. Howse Elementary took part in a hands-on “Float or Sink?” science activity with Dr. Dormer. After a pirate-themed read aloud, students worked in groups to explore a layered density tower, making predictions and discovering where different objects would land!

Such a fun experiment - and a sneak peek at the hands-on science adventures waiting for them in 2nd grade 🧪💭

We wanted to take a moment to highlight one of the many creative learning experiences made possible through a WCAEF mini-grant ✨

Thanks to Ms. Kohlbrenner’s “Learning Labs” mini-grant at Fern Hill Elementary, everyday classroom lessons were transformed into exciting, real-world experiences for students. Whether acting as “word doctors” 🩺, record label agents 🎵, or builders 🚧, students had the chance to apply reading, writing, and math skills in creative ways that made learning feel extra memorable!
