When Sydney Sargis first discovered Steve & Kate's Camp, she fell in love with its philosophy - empowering kids to follow their interests and design their own days. ๐
She started as a substitute counselor in 2017, jumping into any camp she could. Over the years, her passion and dedication led her from Breadmaking Studio leader to assistant director - and today, she's the director of the Chicago-North Center.
It's a journey filled with growth, purpose, and joy - and one she wouldn't change for the world. ๐๐ชด
๐ Here's to the people who grow with us and help shape what makes Bright Horizons so special, 40 years and counting. ๐

For 40 years, Bright Horizons has been shaped by the people who bring care, connection, and purpose to every day. ๐โจ
๐ Miriam Chavez was 19, new to the U.S., and had just become a Bright Horizons teacher. Today, she's a center director, a leader, and a mom - and grateful for a journey filled with growth, stability, and support.
๐ Takeyah Coles has spent 13 years working with children of all ages, growing into leadership roles, and returning to where it all began as center director at Bright Horizons at Short Pump.
๐ Kellie Laorenza, more than two decades in, remains inspired by every classroom, every child, and every connection that has shaped her along the way.
๐ Audra Walker's Bright Horizons journey is defined by lasting connections - including caring for one family's three children over the years, from their earliest days in a new country to finding their way back again.
Different journeys. One shared purpose. ๐ฑ๐ช Here's to 40 years of impact - and the who make it all possible.

Over the weekend, our Center Director celebrated her 21st anniversary with Bright Horizons! ๐
Today, we had the special opportunity to welcome her current and past mentors to the center. Our Division Vice President, Julie Beam, and Group Vice President, Donna Gretkowski, were Regional Managers early in Erinโs career when she was a teacher in one of our Bright Horizons classrooms. Our current Regional Manager, Amy DiNardo, also played an important role as Erinโs mentor when she first became a Center Director in 2015.
Visits from our senior leaders are such an important part of how we ensure program quality, providing opportunities for connection, feedback, and continued growth across our centers.
It was such a meaningful day spent together, celebrating leadership, mentorship, and showcasing all of the amazing programming happening here at Bright Horizons at Eagleview!
If you havenโt visited us recently, weโd love for you to stop by and see all the wonderful things happening here! ๐
