Lionville Community YMCA is located in Exton, PA and offers a fitness center with a wide variety of training equipment, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, gyms for a game of basketball or your choice of free play, an art center and more. YMCA membership includes access to hundreds of group exercise classes including yoga, Pilates, Barre, Spin and more as well as full use of the facility and drop-in childcare while you workout. Members also enjoy discounts on a wide variety of programs such as swimming lessons, youth sports like basketball, soccer and more, dance, theatre, art and music classes as well as on infant or toddler care, preschool and summer camps. You do not have to be a member of the YMCA to participate in paid programs. Membership means more at the YMCA. The Y is a diverse community joined together by a shared commitment to nurture the potential of kids, promote healthy living and foster social responsibility.

Grandparents’ Day Tea at Lionville!

Our hearts were so full today! We absolutely loved welcoming our wonderful grandparents and special guests to the Lionville Community YMCA Early Learning Center for our Grandparents’ Day Tea.

The children were so excited to share their classrooms, activities, and lots of special moments with some of their favorite people. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make today filled with smiles, love, laughter, and memories we will cherish!

Learning Through Literacy!

Our PreK learners have been busy exploring body parts through stories and pictures! During today’s Frog Street lesson, children used illustrations as picture clues, matched body-part words to the story, and practiced using new vocabulary.

Activities like this help build early literacy, language development, and comprehension skills while making learning fun and meaningful!

We love watching our children make connections between pictures, words, and the world around them!

Our entire Early Learning Center came together to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month through a special school-wide collaborative art project! Each classroom worked together, with every child contributing a piece to create one beautiful display celebrating culture, community, and the importance of learning from one another.

This project gave our children the opportunity to be creative while learning that every individual piece is important—and when we work together, we can create something amazing! We are so proud of how our whole school came together to celebrate and honor Hispanic heritage.

In honor of Patriots’ Day and September 11th, our entire center came together to create a special American flag. Each classroom created a piece of the flag, and when put together, all of the individual pieces became one beautiful symbol of unity, strength, and togetherness.

This project gave our children an age-appropriate way to come together, create, and remember the importance of caring for one another and our community. Together, we are stronger!

Today was a BIG day at the Lionville YMCA Early Learning Center! Our little learners kicked off their first day of school with lots of smiles, excitement, exploring, and fun!

We loved watching our classrooms come to life as our friends reconnected, met their teachers, explored their spaces, and started making new memories together.

Here’s to a school year filled with learning, laughter, friendships, growth, and plenty of YMCA fun! We can’t wait to see all the amazing things our little learners accomplish this year!
