These children spent hours- in deep play…”washing” the car with flower petals, and ice cubes- then drying with leaves. Their next project was to bury the truck in the garden! 🤣 They dug their hearts out, found lots of worms; and then left it “hidden” from us. Even the smallest toddling babies got in on the action. 😍

Thanks to the Children’s Museum of NH- we have a whole bunch of new, thoughtfully chosen toys. Yesterday, Jack and Reagan “trapped” small figures inside our cups and muffin pans. They were thrilled to learn they could make ice! Today- they worked on “freeing” them. We used pipettes, small figures- and much to their surprise- just added warm water.

People ask me- “What IS Playroom?”
It’s childcare, family care, AND a community play space. We eat our meals family style, and everyone pitches in. Today, the oldest two did the lunch dishes. They were efficient, effective, and immensely proud of being part of taking care of their friends. 😍 (and take notice of Macadoodle, our little orange kitten- loving their splashing!)
