This year’s Breakfast Club bus crew 💛🚌

Today was the last morning all of these big kids will be together waiting for the bus. It’s hard to believe how quickly the years have flown by! Next year, we’re sending another one off to junior high, and our little Breakfast Club won’t quite be the same.

Watching these kids grow from little daycare friends into confident, independent young people has been such a privilege. While I’m so proud of all they have accomplished, I will definitely miss our morning chats, laughs, and bus stop routines.

Here’s to summer, new adventures, and one last shoutout to the 25/26 Breakfast Club!❤️🚌

Insect Week

🥵 Beat the heat? Challenge accepted! 🥵
There was no better day to take the learning outside! The water table was the star of the show today, and the kids had so much fun splashing the afternoon away.
Water play is one of our favorite ways to sneak in some incredible skill-building. Today’s focus was all about:
Hand-Eye Coordination (aiming those cups and funnels!
Cooperative Play (sharing the splash zone with friends)
We are officially cooled down, tuckered out, and ready for naptime! 😴💤

Happy Friday, daycare families! 🕷️🦋
We are having the absolute best time wrapping up our Insect Week! The kiddos have been so curious and engaged all week long, and today was the perfect finale.
Here is a peek at what our busy little learners worked on this morning:
Spider Fossils: We pressed toy spiders into clay to make "fossils." This was a fantastic workout for their fine motor skills and hand eye-coordination! They are drying over the weekend, and we can’t wait to paint them next week.
Love Bugs: We also got creative making our own unique love bugs that spell out our names.
They did such an amazing job following directions and sharing materials today.
We hope everyone has a wonderful, relaxing weekend, and we will see you on Tuesday for a whole new week of fun! ☀️

🎉 Bug Week is Here! 🎉

Today we kicked off Bug Week by making adorable paper bag bee puppets! 🎭✨

This hands-on activity was not only fun, but also helped our children build important skills, including:
✂️ Fine motor skills through cutting, gluing, and decorating
🎨 Creativity and self-expression
👀 Hand-eye coordination
💬 Language development and storytelling
📝 Following directions and making independent choices

Happy Friday, families! 🦋
We have officially wrapped up the final days of our Butterfly Week, and what a fun journey it has been! Today, the kiddos put on their artist hats and created these adorable butterfly headbands.
While they look incredibly cute wearing them, this project was also a fantastic workout for their development. The kids practiced major focus and patience while:
Strengthening fine motor skills through precise gluing.
Exploring color coordination to decorate their wings.
Building spatial awareness as they assembled all the pieces together.

🐛 We kicked off Butterfly Week today, and the kiddos were so excited!
To get things started, everyone made these beautiful butterfly suncatchers to hang in our windows. They look amazing, but they were also a great workout for growing brains and hands! Here is what your kiddos were practicing today:
Fine Motor Skills: Ripping up the tissue paper and pinching the small pieces to glue them down is perfect practice for strengthening those tiny hand muscles.
Color Exploration: We talked about all the different colors they were using and watched what happened when the colors overlapped.
Focus & Patience: Fitting all those bright pieces inside the lines took some serious concentration, and they did such a great job sticking with it!
Take a peek at the windows when you come for pickup today—they look so pretty with the sun shining through them!

Our Farm Week craft today was vegetable stamping! We explored different vegetables you might find in a garden and used them to create beautiful pictures and fun designs. The kids loved seeing the different shapes and prints each vegetable made.

This activity helped build creativity, fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, color recognition, and sensory exploration while having lots of fun getting a little messy too!

We had so much fun celebrating Garden Week today! 🌷 The children created beautiful tulip gardens using the letters in their names, and they were so proud to see their creations come to life. This activity gave us a chance to practice letter recognition, name spelling, color matching, fine motor skills, and creativity all while having fun together.
