PEA Peer Tutoring

PEA Peer Tutoring A place of non-sibi to help and be helped. Meets 7-9 p.m., Sunday-Thursday in the Academic Support Center in the Phelps Academy Center (3rd Floor), Room 327

The Academic Support Counselor works with individual students in some subjects and in general areas such as study strategies, paper writing, reading load, test preparation, organization and time management. Students who'd like to meet with the Academic Support Counselor can email [email protected] and indicate their free time to meet, both daytime formats and evening times during peer tutoring. T

he study strategies and time management handouts provided during conferences are also available on the shelves in the room to anyone interested.

LAST DAY TO ASK FOR AN APPLICATION!

We're beginning to look for next year’s head tutors! They’ll take over some time during spring term and continue in September. We invite your nominations and applications.

Traditionally we select current uppers, but we may consider current lowers.If you want to nominate someone, please email Mrs Parris (pparris).If you’d like to apply, also email Mrs Parris by Fri, Feb 1, and she will send you an application, which will be due on or before Fri, Feb 8. We hope to make the final selections by the end of winter term.
