Just For Kix - Minnetonka, MN The Minnetonka Area Just for Kix is a youth dance program that offers dance classes to all students We work on creating good habits with the younger dancers.

The Minnetonka Area Just For Kix program is for students ages 3 through 12th grade. Just for Kix is a wonderul program to help prepare dancers for the skill and technique that is needed for high school dance teams. AT JUST FOR KIX, KIDS SHINE

If your child's toes can't stop tapping...then Just For Kix is just the program for you. Our dance classes are the perfect way to introduce your child to the world of dance without having the high costs like other dance studios. We pride ourselves on providing a low stress, no pressure environment where young dancers can have fun while gaining relationships that will last a lifetime. TECHNIQUE and BASICS:

Basic placement and technique are a major focus. Coaches will provide the skill and technique to prepare dancers who are looking to try out for a High School Dance Team. Instruction is very hands on and focused. FLEXIBILITY and STRENGTH is focused on too! They are 2 key factors in becoming a great dancer; challenging dancers to advance and progress to their top potential. CHOREOGRAPHY:

Our choreography is what built our business. It is creative and innovative. Choreography teaches kick technique as well as basic dance technique in a team environment that is very visual to our audiences. Our classes are fast paced and fun. We have great music and great instructors. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

-Dancers will perform multiple times per season at large-scale events.
-Our older classes compete in a “low pressure” environment (2nd through 12th grade).
-Our dancers wear one costume for each class for the year. Our costumes are tasteful and focus on age appropriate styles.
-Just For Kix prides itself on being organized. We get it done! Class time is maximized so every minute is utilized. Our goal is to have each and every class start on time and end on time. Please Contact Kelsey Vercruysse at [email protected] for more information!

We have been so impressed by May’s dedication and effort as she starts this season. Her coaches are so proud of all the hard work she’s put in to be the dancer she is; it doesn’t go unnoticed. May’s dedication, kindness, and being a friend to everyone have made her such an incredibly strong leader, and we are so proud! We can’t wait to see where this dance season takes her!

Coach Sydney’s pick this week is Kenna! Kenna always walks into practice with a smile and is ready to go! She is such a great and positive role model for our Wee teams this year, cheering others on, encouraging her teammates, and always being prepared by knowing her dances! Kenna continues to show her dedication to dance each week and is truly inspiring to our dancers! We can’t wait to see her grow throughout the years!

Coach Kelsey’s pick this week is Ryan! Ryan has the most positive attitude, and it is seriously contagious to her entire team. She pumps everyone up at practice, encourages her teammates, and has a way of making the whole team feel more excited and ready to dance. Ryan’s hard work over the last year is a testament to everyone that you can do anything you put your mind to.

This is something we did years ago at Minnetonka JFK, and we’re so excited to bring it back this season! Our placement dancers spent time today dancing, learning, laughing, and building our team culture. We had an amazing time learning from Jenna and had a blast with Rick!

Today was about more than dance. We talked about progress, teamwork, commitment and learning from one another. We may all be at different places in our dance journey, but we can keep moving forward by celebrating progress, supporting one another, and cheering each other on along the way. 💖

Our Minnetonka JFK family continues to grow, and with that growth comes some exciting changes!

Many of you already know and love Coach Sydney! She has been such an important part of Minnetonka JFK, and I’m so excited to share that she is stepping into an even bigger role with us this season! You’ll find Coach Syd teaching classes every night of the week while also helping with behind the scenes work to help keep everything running smoothly. With 650 enrollments this season - nearly 100 more than last season - we are SO excited to have Sydney stepping into this expanded role!

Sydney has a degree in Early Childhood Education and brings so much patience, experience, energy, and love for kids to JFK. We are incredibly lucky to have her and even luckier that she is able to take on this expanded role!
