3 hours later, we have a new climber! Because of our amazing families and our incredible Parent Advisory Board, we were able to raise enough money for more in house experiences (how many times is too many times for Llamas to visit?) and also a brand new playground climber. Special shout out to our amazing Mr. Tim for answering all of Ms. Sam’s panic texts about socket wrenches and bolts!

The first ever preschool packathon! Our 3,4 and 5 year olds packed an incredible 1,728 meals in ONE HOUR. We had helping hands, grateful hearts, and infectious attitudes. We laughed, poured and spilled, sealed and smiled our way through this incredible experience. Please join us November 7,8, and 9th as MC and the community bands together to continue the pledge of feeding as many people as possible. Let’s pack some food, and spread the love! P.S. Ms. Sam is REALLY wanting the Halloween theme next year to be lunch ladies. Because preschoolers in hairnets should be a more regular occurrence. Like if you agree.

Yesterday was HOT with excitement (in the safest way possible 😉)! Our friends from the Excelsior Fire Department came to visit and teach us all about fire safety.
The kids were wide-eyed seeing the BIG firetruck up close, seeing how they can put on alllll their gear, and learning what firefighters do to keep us safe.
We are SO thankful for these real-life heroes who not only protect our community but also took the time to make learning fun for our preschoolers. 💛

Another year, another graduation! What a year it’s been. We’ve cherished every day with these incredible little humans as they’ve explored, grown, and learned through life.

Learning can be scary. It can be frustrating, especially when you’re 5 and your friends seem to be doing it “faster.” It’s hard to try something new, and when you add growing pains and losing teeth that you’ve had “your entire super long life,” it can feel like a lot.

But every day, these kids amaze us with their perseverance, their forgiveness, their curiosity, and most of all, their love. They love to love.

We’ve watched them support each other, cheer each other on, and celebrate the little wins. And every once in a while, they say something that reminds us just how much wisdom is packed into those tiny bodies with big hearts, big brains, and (as one graduate put it) “Hulk hands so I can hold whatever things a kindergartener needs to hold. Like two pencils at the same time. Maybe a ruler too.”

We’re so proud of you, graduates. The world is lucky to have you. 💛🎓 If you have any pictures of your little at graduation, don’t forget to tag us!

Hooray for trying new things! Last week in the Ladybug class, Ms Dana took on the challenge of making a Malawian food that Ms Pemphero likes to eat back home called Nsima - it was a success! Our Ladybug friends got to try Nsima with honey, salt, sugar, and tomatoes. Sugar was definitely the most popular choice…

Thank you Ms Pemphero for teaching us about a new food and hooray to our Ladybugs for trying something new! ☀️
