Hands-on engineering with real-world impact!

Today, a group of our civil engineering students collected soil samples for their senior capstone project in collaboration with The Arc Mercer Inc.

All samples were sealed in airtight containers and brought back to the soils lab. Next up: analyzing soil properties for their foundation design for the Arc Mercer Farm.

Thank you to all the employers who joined us this morning for our EPIIC Employer Breakfast!

Funded by the National Science Foundation's Enabling Partnerships to Increase Innovation Capacity (EPIIC) grant, today's event was designed specifically for engineering and sciences employers. Hosted in partnership with TCNJ's Career Center and Office of Academic Affairs, the breakfast offered attendees a great opportunity to network with faculty, fellow professionals, and our student speakers. Employers learned about TCNJ’s programs and ways to engage with our students before they headed to our Fall Career and Internship Fair.

This summer, 26 TCNJ Engineering students spent eight weeks on campus diving deep into research alongside 10 faculty mentors through TCNJ's Mentored Undergraduate Summer Experience (MUSE)!

The program, which culminated in last week's poster presentations, funds research stipends and on-campus housing for students, and consists of a vibrant mix of ideas and projects across all academic disciplines.
