Women’s Leadership Summit at The College of New Jersey was a great success!

Our NJ Small Business Development Center was proud to support this incredible event, where women gathered to empower, connect, and elevate one another. The day was filled with energy, meaningful conversations, and practical insights that I’m excited to bring back to our community.

A Few Highlights:
The event opened with remarks from Tammy Dieterich, Dean of TCNJ’s School of Business, followed by a grounding activity led by Moniquea Gaines-Clark Coach Mo, setting an uplifting tone for the day.

In the breakout sessions, impactful topics were explored:

Fuchs shared powerful strategies to overcome self-sabotage and embrace empowerment.
Ramos guided us in finding inner peace amid life’s chaos.
Our keynote speaker, Speaks, offered insights on emotional intelligence, leaving us with tools for resilience, influence, and self-awareness.
Networking during lunch, including the engaging Human Bingo activity, led to valuable new connections. The day wrapped up with a great workshop by Dr. Tamar Spitzer and Dr. Sandra Schwartz on transforming stress into a source of strength.

This summit was a wonderful reminder of the power of women supporting women, and I’m grateful to have been part of it. Looking forward to continuing this journey of growth and connection!

El Centro de Desarrollo de Pequeños Negocios de la Universidad de Nueva Jersey esta ofreciendo las clases de Certificación de Gerente de Protección de Alimentos/ ServSafe.

Las clases son en Espanol, se proporciona todos los materiales necesarios, incluido el libro de texto, para las clases presenciales de la certificación y ayudar a prepararte de manera efectiva para el examen final.

El evento se llevará a cabo durante dos días, el 26 y 27 de Junio, de 9:30 am a 2:30 pm. Durante este tiempo, nuestra instructora guiará a los participantes con el contenido necesario para comprender y aplicar prácticas seguras en la manipulación de alimentos.
