I’m sure you want to know a little bit about me…
Well, where to begin…
As far back as I can remember, I have always wanted to teach and I have always loved Math…
I graduated from Rowan University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. Soon after graduation, I began working for a local mortgage company and had the opportunity to develop my professional personality and co
mmunication skills. After 8 years in various positions, I lost my job in one of the workforce reductions and was encouraged to pursue a new career path. Deciding to return to my lifelong desire to teach, I applied and was accepted into Rowan’s Master of Science in Teaching (K-12 Math) cohort in February of 2013. The comprehensive 13 month program gave me the foundation that I needed to learn and practice the art of pedagogy. After graduating in May 2014, I had the opportunity to complete a full school year (2014 - 2015) as a Long Term Substitute at Kingsway Middle School teaching 7th grade Math and Pre-Algebra. Kingsway hired me to teach Algebra 1 in the High School for the following school year (2015 - 2016). As the path of life is a winding one, last year I decided to pursue a more flexible teaching schedule and had wonderful experiences as a home-bound instructor and private tutor. I grew to love each and every one of my families and knew that this path was the one that I was meant to travel on. Officially established now to facilitate the realization of all of my career goals. I have a unique set of skills that makes me an effective educator and mentor and I cannot wait to meet you! I am available to tutor math students in an online setting or in my home in Ewing, NJ. I have my certifications and background check results as well as parent recommendation letters available for review.
