PANTHER VISION Panther Vision is you best source for the latest E-TC news and sports information. It soon grew to 20+ page editions that were issued every other week.

Panther Vision started in 2006 as an unnamed satirical newspaper at Ewen-Trout Creek. The student council wrote and edited it and it was published and handed out in the high school only. The following year the writing class at E-TC decided to start a student run newspaper that eventually came to be called Panther Vision. The paper started out as a 8-10 page review of important events at E-TC as we

ll as a way to keep readers informed about future events. Distribution also grew to over 400 copies that were delivered to most local businesses and were available to the public for free. In 2008 the class took the paper online with the launch of panthervision.org (which was recently [2010] shut down because the class was cut from the curriculum). In more recent years, the newspaper was published once a quarter as the group focused most of there attention on the internet including a page with nearly 600 followers, a twitter account a youtube channel , and a Ustream channel for live internet streaming of E-TC events (such as sporting events, band & choir concerts,School board meetings and graduations). The goal of Panther Vision was to show community and alumni what Ewen-Trout Creek is from the students' point of view. A fan favorite is the annual April Fools Day Edition of the newspaper.
