Parents as Teachers Conecuh Parents as Teachers (PAT) HIPPY partners with parents to help prepare their children ages 2, 3 & 4 for success in school.

HIPPY also gives support to parents in their critical role as their child's first teacher. Parents as Teachers Model provides services to families with children from prenatal to Kindergarten. There are four dynamic components to the PAT Model 1) Personal Visits 2) Group Meetings 3) Resource Network 4) Child Screenings

PAT Conecuh, had a wonderful time gardening with our toddlers on Tuesday! The kids learned how to plant flowers, take care of their flowers and , all about bugs in their gardens. The parents decorated their birdhouses and birdfeeders! We have several openings if you are interested in joining PAT! Call the Conecuh County Extension Office at 251-578-2762! Home Visiting Week - April 20-24, 2026! These are our Parent as Teachers Parent Educators for Conecuh County. Left to Right Crystal Gary, Christie Jones and Amy McClain (Lead) .They are truly The Dream Team. These ladies go above and beyond for their families everyday. They uplift and empower everyone they serve. They have made such a positive impact on our families in Conecuh County. These ladies utilize a variety of evidence -based models, increase family self-sufficiency and help children enter school fully prepared to succeed. This week and every week we're thankful for these hardworking and compassionate home visiting professionals.
