Conecuh County Schools had an incredible Institute Day as we came together to kick off another year of Excellence Everyday!

We were honored to welcome Dr.
Tonea Stewart as our guest speaker, and she was absolutely phenomenal! Her powerful and inspiring message reminded us of the tremendous impact educators and school employees have on the lives of our students each and every day.

Our employees enjoyed a fun-filled day featuring music, snacks, door prizes, fellowship, and plenty of excitement!

Our STEAM Academy brings together academically qualified students in grades 6-9 from across the Conecuh County School District for an innovative and challenging learning experience.

Students are selected based on established academic criteria, including state assessments and are provided opportunities to strengthen their skills through Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM). STEAM students attend for a block of time and then return to their base schools.

Conecuh County School district
personnel and school administrators have been preparing to welcome our students back for the first day of school on Wednesday, August 5th. We look forward to seeing everyone as we begin another exciting school year.
We also encourage all families to attend their school's Open House.

Conecuh County Schools Technology Department would like to recognize and thank our outstanding summer student worker, Dedrianna Locke, for her hard work and dedication.

This summer, the Technology Department was honored to receive a grant through the Alabama Leaders in Educational Technology(ALET), which allowed us to hire a student worker to assist with the technology initiatives. Dedrianna quickly became a valuable member of the team, demonstrating a strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and a positive attitude each day.

From setting up student and staff devices to resetting interactive panels across the district, Dedrianna played an important role in helping us prepare our schools for a successful 2026–2027 school year. Her willingness to take on new challenges and her commitment to excellence made a meaningful impact on our department.

Thank you, Dedrianna, for your dedication, professionalism, and the contributions you made to the Conecuh County Schools Technology Department this summer. We truly appreciate all of your hard work and wish you continued success in all that you do!
