Columbus County Schools will be in Remote Instruction for Friday, September 30th. Students will be given assignments through Google Classroom, and teachers will be available for questions through email and/or Remind.

The Affordable Connectivity Program is an FCC benefit program that helps ensure that households can afford the broadband they need for work, school, healthcare, and more. All CCS families are eligible because 100% of students receive free lunch.

The benefit provides a discount of up to $30 per month toward internet service. Eligible households can also receive a one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet. Please note that this program is not conducted by CCS, and all questions should be directed to your internet provider. Click the link below for more information.

Columbus County Schools realizes rising costs have affected all of our families. As a result, schools will not be posting supply lists for the upcoming school year.

Parents are encouraged to purchase basic items that they feel will help their child's education such as pencils and paper. Other instructional supplies will be provided by schools. We hope that this decision will be helpful to all concerned.
We are excited about this coming year and look forward to seeing everyone at open houses and on the first day of school on August 29th.

Eligible North Carolina children will receive additional benefits over the summer to ensure they have access to nutritious food. The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services recently received approval from the U.S. Department of Agriculture to continue the Pandemic Electronic Benefits Transfer food assistance program through Summer 2022. Please join us Monday thru Thursday for meals on site at the following schools -

Chadbourn Elementary School until July 27, 2022
West Columbus High School until July 14, 2022
Tabor City Elementary School until July 14, 2022

Breakfast 8:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.
Lunch 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
