What a weekend in Montgomery! 🏀❤️

In just two days, these young athletes earned something that can't be measured by wins and losses. They earned RESPECT. By the time the tournament was over, everyone knew who they were. Coaches, players, & spectators saw the growth, saw the determination, & saw the fight this team developed over night & displayed in real time.

Our boys may have fallen short in Game 1, but they came back on Day 2 & fought until the very end, coming within just 2 points of a win. The scoreboard didn't tell the whole story, THEIR HEART DID & EVERYONE there saw it! For their very FIRST tournament, OUR GOAL was exposure & experience... MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! 🥰

My favorite convo with a coach this weekend: "Doc, you got some good boys... not just talented, but well-mannered & respectful. Keep working with them... They WILL go places." 🥹🙌🏾💪🏾🦁... THIS is WHY we do what we do at DREAM Learning Center . Around here, we don't ask for perfection. No sir... WE ASK FOR HEART & to carry yourself like you're young KINGS. And these boys GAVE & CARRIED every ounce of it. 👑

So go ahead and call us the COMEBACK KIDS, because that's exactly who we are. We may get knocked down, but we'll always get back up. We'll keep learning. We'll keep growing. And one thing is certain...
We're here... and we'll COME BACK every single time.

I am beyond proud that our boys are starting to understand that champions aren't defined by the games they win... they are defined by the courage to rise after every setback, the heart to fight until the final buzzer, & the determination to come back stronger every single time. 🏀🔥 So, just know, if you count US out, you can't count... 🤷🏾‍♀️... and if this is what we do in a few short MONTHS, Lord, where will you have us in a year?! 😘🧘🏾‍♀️👑🦁🙏🏾

🦁🏀🔥IT'S TOURNAMENT TIME!! 🦁🏀🔥

The moment we've been waiting for is finally here! This weekend, our boys are hitting the road to Montgomery, Alabama for their FIRST EVER tournament, & we, at DREAM Learning Center could not be more fired up!

This is more than just basketball for us. It's an opportunity to compete, to grow, & to gain experience against teams that have been playing & traveling the tournament circuit for years. Every possession, every hustle play, every minute on that court is a chance to get better & to show everyone the heart these young athletes have.

No matter the outcome, these boys have ALREADY made us proud. Now it's time to play hard, stay together, ANNND leave it all on the floor!

We need our village behind them! Drop some 💙🏀🦁🔥 in the comments, wish our boys GOOD LUCK, & please say a little prayer for safe travels, confidence, strength, & an unforgettable weekend.
