🚨ATTENTION PARENTS AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS: like and SHARE!

It’s that time again! Our Juniors are gearing up to take the ACT+Writing exam. We need your support on WEDNESDAY. Show up at Hillcrest High School by 7:45 am to join the “Spirit Line” to cheer our kids on towards the finish line!

This exam is one of the indicators for our state report card. Last year the Class of 2026 met the challenge and helped us get off the priority school list. This year, it’s on the Class of 2027 and we know they will step up!

The Conecuh County Workforce Development Center Health Science Department held its Advisory Board meeting, hosted by Health Science Instructor Mrs. Cheri Bradley.

During the meeting, members were updated on the current Health Science Program, student credentialing opportunities, and reviewed local and state workforce data highlighting the ongoing demand for healthcare professionals and the importance of continuing a strong Health Science program.

The group also discussed HOSA–Future Health Professionals, the Career and Technical Student Organization representing the Health Science cluster, and explored ways members can support and engage with this organization.

Advisory members provided valuable input on preparing students for a seamless transition from school to the workforce, sharing ideas to enhance classroom experiences and identifying volunteer and job shadowing opportunities for students within the healthcare field.

Ensure your son or daughter is at school “on time”.
Reinforce the concept of applying themselves and doing their very best.
