Immanuel Pre-School is oriented toward children who attend for one, two or three years. Activities and projects for next year will NOT be a repeat of this year's. The same developmental concepts will be covered but approached in different ways. We have found our alphabet / science / and math centers to be interesting and successful. The children also enjoy a computer center along with a listening
/ tech center for enrichment purposes. Children “learning through play” in a safe and loving environment is a priority at Immanuel. Throughout the school year all classrooms cover the same material. Our classrooms are a combination of 3, 4, and 5 yr. Younger and older children work cooperatively together but, may occasionally be grouped separately for activities at appropriate times. Each week a new project is introduced which covers a variety of skills. The children are encouraged to participate in all areas of our classroom centers for well-rounded development. Many factors, such as age and peer groups determine the classroom placement of your child. Regardless of the room your child is currently in s/he may or may not be in the same classroom next year.
