Student Veterans of America is now accepting applications for the Google SVA Scholarship! Eight $10,000 scholarships will be awarded for use during the 2023/2024 Academic Year.

This scholarship is for undergraduate student veterans only who are studying computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related field. Please see Google Scholarship for additional details and eligibility requirements for the scholarship.

When applying for this scholarship, an essay submission is a part of the application process. You do not need to submit a video.

The Chicago City Council voted to pass and codify the City Clerk's No-Fee Veterans City Sticker pilot into a permanent program that now also includes Small Trucks!

Beginning today, Veterans who have a VETERAN designation on their Illinois Driver's License or Illinois State ID are eligible to receive a free Vehicle City Sticker for a vehicle designated as either a Passenger (P), Large Passenger (LP), Motorbike (MB) OR Small Truck (ST). Veterans with Prisoner of War (PW), Purple-Heart Recipient (PR), I-Served (IS) and Disabled Veteran (DV) license plates will continue to be eligible for this program.
