🦖🦕It is so fun to see a move-a-thon dinosaur in the wild!

🏃🏾‍♂️🏃‍♀️Our students worked so hard to get their laps in! The classes with the most laps will be announced soon!

🐯🐾If you haven't made a donation yet but would like to, you have until the end of the week. Thank you to everyone that supported this event; whether through a donation or volunteering your time. It truly takes a community to make these things happen! https://www.givebacks.com/causes/garfieldpta/campaigns/1e28f6e65c25

Did you know that for the last few years the Garfield yearbook cover has been designed by one of our 5th graders?

Each 5th grader is given the opportunity to create and submit a design that is then voted on at the November PTA meeting. Our fifth grade faculty will soon be receiving their materials and the design process will begin!

If you would like vote on the designs, please attend our meeting on Monday, November 16 at 4:00pm in the Garfield library or via Zoom.

A special shout out to our amazing fifth grade teachers and students that help make this memorable piece of the yearbook happen!

⭐ ⭐ What an AMAZING week our Garfield Tigers had! ⭐ ⭐

🐯 Tuesday AGAPE had their first meeting of the 2026-2027 school year! Thank you to Mrs. Hollenbeck and Mrs. Youngren for helping to build some of our future leaders! 🤩

🐯 Wednesday was picture day! Our students looked so great in the picture day clothes and hair. We hope they brought their biggest smiles! 😁

🐯 Thursday we hosted our 2nd annual move-a-thon and boy did our tigers get a lot of laps in! So many smiles were to be had! 🏃

🐯 Friday Garfield had their first Tiger Pride assembly of the year. Students from each grade were recognized for being great learners. Third grade presents our new theme with an epic rendition of Eye of the Tiger. Way to go, third grade! 🐾

🐯 Friday also saw a visit from USTA Martial Arts where over 100 of our tigers got a preview of what Master Park and his students do over at his dojang. Thank you Master Park and your wonderful instructors and leadership team for coming! 🥋

🐯 A special THANK YOU to all the Garfield parents that volunteered at these events. We truly couldn't make them happen without you!! 🥰

🐯 A special reminder that if you took photos during any of these events or any time you are at Garfield, please feel free to send them to our yearbook team to be considered for placement in the 2026-2027 yearbook! Thank you! [email protected] 📸

🥋 USTA Everett will be at Garfield this Friday to provide a free taekwondo lesson to our tigers! If you're child is signed up to join, be sure they come to school in clothes they can kick, punch, and break some boards in! 😀

🙏 Thank you Master Park and your leadership team for donating your time to bring this event to our school! 🤩

Hello Everett Family! 🥋❤️

We’re excited to share a special upcoming community event!

On Friday, October 2nd, our USTA Everett Leadership Team will be visiting Garfield Elementary School for Kicks for Garfield!

Our students will help lead a Taekwondo class, board breaking experience, and Leadership performance for Garfield students while representing USTA Everett in our local community.

One of our biggest goals is helping students understand that Taekwondo goes beyond the dojang. Confidence, respect, discipline, and leadership are values we can carry with us everywhere and use to make a positive impact on others. ❤️

🥋 Kicks for Garfield
Friday, October 2nd
2:30 PM – 3:30 PM
Garfield Elementary School, Everett, WA 98201

This will also be our Leadership Team’s first performance of the 2026–27 season!

Even if your student is not part of Leadership, our Everett families are welcome to come out and cheer on the team if you are available! 🥋❤️

Regular Friday classes at USTA Everett will continue as scheduled after the event. Can't wait to see everyone there~!
