n do their best work--and so can our students. The Garfield PTA provides support to teachers, students, and families. We raise money for and plan a variety of school activities that are not funded by the school district. Sponsored by the Garfield PTA: Annual Fundraisers, Book Fairs, Spirit Shop, Yearbook, Popcorn Fridays, Winterfest, Family Movie Night, Field Day, 5th Grade Celebration, Art Reflections, Weekly Reader, Classroom/Equipment Grants, Classroom/Teacher/Office Support, Volunteers & Support for School Events such as Bingo Night, Math Night, and others.

Everett Public Schools has reached a tentative agreement with the Everett Education Association (EEA) on a contract, which includes the proposed student calendars for the next two academic years.

The final step in the process is for the Everett Public Schools Board of Directors to vote on the ratified EEA contract at its Sept. 8 regular school board meeting.

The first day of school for grades 1-12 will be Wednesday, Sept. 2. Preschool and kindergarten will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 8.

Help make Field Day at Garfield a fun and unforgettable end of the year experience for our kids! Sign up for a morning or afternoon shift or both! We'll provide pizza for all volunteers between shifts.

Staff appreciation week is off to a delicious start! Friday the PTA transformed the staff lounge into Camp Garfield! This morning we provided a breakfast bar for our staff!
