Field Day June 12, 2026

Help make Field Day at Garfield a fun and unforgettable end of the year experience for our kids! Sign up for a morning or afternoon shift or both! We'll provide pizza for all volunteers between shifts.

Day 4 of staff appreciation week!

Today we have a delicious assortment of sweets for our staff to snack on! We also have a craft station where they can make their own lanyard!

Huge shout out to the volunteers who have gone above and beyond for the amazing staff at Garfield!

And huge shout out to our Garfield staff! Thank you for everything you do to make Garfield a special place! 💙🧡🐾

Day 3 of staff appreciation week! Today the PTA put together a sandwich bar for the staff to enjoy at lunch! Thank you to all the volunteers who donated to help make this happen!

Staff appreciation week is off to a delicious start! Friday the PTA transformed the staff lounge into Camp Garfield! This morning we provided a breakfast bar for our staff! Wednesday we will be providing a sandwich bar and Friday will be a desert bar! If you would like to help bring food for either of these days please message us or text Sophia at 206-595-8168.

STEM night is just around the corner and we need volunteers!

What is STEM?
-S: Science
-T: Technology
-E-Engineering
-M- Math

We will have the Imagine children's museum, A geologist, A paleontologist, A Robotics expert, and other really awesome guests providing hands on displays and activities!

Tomorrow! 15% of orders made between 4:00 and 9:00 pm will go to the Garfield PTA! Make sure you tell them you are ordering for the Garfield dine out night!

Important dates:
-Yearbook orders are due by tomorrow, Friday the 17th! If you need a form you can get one in the office. The PTA gifts 5th graders free yearbooks so you do not need to order a book for your fifth graders!
-Spirit wear orders are due by Monday!
-PTA meeting Monday the 20th! This is a very important meeting! we hope to see you there!
-dine out at major league pizza April 22nd from 4-9pm.
