One of the first things I do with clients is talk about values. They're the inherent principles that guide us, inform how we move through the world, how we treat others - and ourselves.
I work really hard to live by my values: compassion, service, integrity, connection. I volunteer my time to organizations that are important to me, I make an effort to stay in touch and be present with people I care about, and I hold myself to a high standard when it comes to being true to my word.
All this to say I'll be shutting down all my Meta accounts: Facebook, Instagram, Threads, WhatsApp on Sunday. The owner of these apps is not someone I hold in high esteem, and I no longer want to be associated (no matter how remotely!) with him and his apps.

Post- holiday weekend: had a wonderful spritz and some funky chips at Marcel with a friend; took my daily walk to the waterfront and saw a reindeer ! Soaked up another amazing sunset, and took my young one out for a birthday dinner (how is it that my baby is 23?!).

Sometimes good things come in bunches! I'd completely forgotten about this interview because it was a couple months back, but it popped up i n my inbox today with an apology at how long it had taken...but I think the timing is perfection!
