📚 Today we celebrated our 2026 Move-Up Ceremony at Rise Up Academy! 🎓

It was a beautiful reminder of what happens when hard work, encouragement, and a love of learning come together. ❤️From Preschool to Pre-K, Pre-K to Kindergarten, and every step in between, our students showed just how much they have learned, grown, and achieved this year. We are incredibly proud of each child and excited to watch them continue their educational journey. 🌟

From the classrooms of Rise Up Academy to becoming a Commissioned Officer in the United States Air Force… we could not be more proud of our very own Jemyah Reed. 🇺🇸✈️

Last Friday, Paul A Stoot Sr. traveled to Houston to attend Jemyah’s Air Force ROTC Commissioning Ceremony at the University of Houston, where he also had the honor of delivering the invocation during this incredible milestone moment.

Jemyah’s journey is a true reflection of excellence, discipline, leadership, and perseverance. Her accomplishments speak for themselves:

• 4.0 Institutional GPA
• 6x President’s List Honoree
• Magna Cum Laude Graduate
• AFROTC Distinguished Graduate
• First student in Texas Southern University history to pass the SIE Exam
• Commissioned Officer in the United States Air Force

And that’s only part of the story.

Watching our alumni continue to break barriers and walk boldly into their purpose is exactly why Rise Up Academy exists. Jemyah, your RUA family is beyond proud of you, and we know this is only the beginning.

Today our students came together for a special school assembly celebrating Mexican culture, music, creativity, and community. Each classroom had the opportunity to present something unique, from songs and performances to colorful artwork and cultural activities!

The Rise Up Academy garden is officially in full effect 🌱✨

Our students are getting hands-on and learning the real process of growth alongside Ms. Emma, from planting tiny seeds all the way to watching them develop and thrive!

This year, we’re planting strawberries, onions, sweet potatoes, sunflowers, and more 🍓🌻🥔🧅 and our students will get to experience the full lifecycle from start to finish.

Today is Lunch Hero Day and we would like to take a moment to show some love to Ms. Linda 💛

Ms. Linda has been part of the Rise Up Academy family for many years, and her impact runs deep. She works hard every single day to prepare two meals a day for our kids, plus snacks, making sure they are nourished, cared for, and ready to learn!

We did the math… she prepares about 1,440 meals per child each year. That’s not just numbers, that’s consistency, care, and showing up every single day.

Our students created cards, we presented her with a certificate, and we took a moment as a school to say thank you. Because people like Ms. Linda are the backbone of what we do.

Ms. Linda, we appreciate you more than we can put into words 💛👏🏽

We loved having Abel on campus today during Academic Review. As a valued supporter of our school and upcoming Golf Classic, and with his connection to Beacon Plumbing, our Title Sponsor, through his brother-in-law, the owner, it meant a lot to have him with us.

Our students were so excited to show off their Earth Day projects and all the hard work they’ve been putting in this week 🌎💚
